Labor and LNP are the left and right wing of the same predatory bird that has a stranglehold on Australian politics. Government for the people by the people has long been forgotten. There was a time when politicians were independent of the corrupting forces of lobbyists and political donations.
My candidacy is democracy at its purist, as I will not accept donations from any institutions. This will be funded by the people, for the people. I want to bring transparency, fairness and compassion to the Federal Parliament.

Funding for this 10 point platform will come from taxing the 679 corporations presently paying no tax and seeking to prevent the eye-watering corporate tax cuts of $65.4 billion over 10 years proposed by the Turnbull Government.

Emerging job automation driving down job opportunities down dictates a social wage for all over 18 years to cover life's basics i.e. food and rent, eliminating pensions - and associated stigma - in the process
Energy
Gas and electricity bought back and Federal Government run and provided back to the people at cost + maintenance + future investment
Banking
Online Peoples Bank backed by the Federal Government providing low interest home loans to first home buyers
Healthcare
Free Universal Healthcare for all, as a human right
Fast food and sugar taxed.
Education
All forms of Education free, with university entrance based solely on merit
HECS Debt
All HECS debt cancelled
Land
No foreign state or corporate ownership of Australian land i.e. the port of Darwin is now owned by China.
Indigenous
All parks amalgamated into a Federal body which would be the primary employer of the indigenous, whose role would be land care and management. Song lines would be created between parks and travelled by the indigenous in their land care roles. Corroborees would once again be celebrated and marketed to the international tourist market.
Government
Political donations and political lobbying made illegal. Corporate funding/giveaways cancelled. Federal ICAC created.
State Governments and Local Council replaced by regional governments. Federal government only to manage Federal matters i.e. ADF, Customs, Foreign Affairs etc.
ADF to only defend Australia (for what purpose have 41 of Australia's finest young men died in Afghanistan?)

Australian Manufacturing brought back, starting with "Australia Car" - powered by renewable energy.
Australia Service
12 months Australia service for all 18 year old youth starting with 3 month boot camp (no weapons) then option of Peace Corps or Green Corps or ADF.

Much hard work needs to be done before the next Australian Federal election which could be mid next year or early in 2019 . The funds would be used for platform broadcast, promotion and advertising.
I would bring balance and reason to all debates, viewing all through the lens of compassion, fairness and renewable sustainability.
