Operation Adoption: Making the Drakes

After much encouragement from friends and family, here we are..... We are Tyler and Cassie Drake. Our story started 9 months ago when 2 precious little girls (ages 2 & 4) were placed into our lives very unexpectedly. In a matter of 24 hours we went from two to four in our household! WOAH! No, really.... we said woah at least 20 times a day for a solid 3 months! Lol! These two sweet babies were in desperate need of a family, care, and more than anything...LOVE. We didn't know how we were going to do it, but we just knew we had to. Many of you have followed our journey from day one, and you have watched them grow through pictures and videos. Our hearts have grown equally as much in 9 months, and we know in our hearts, and by His plan, that we have to make these girls a forever part of our family.  "Why do you need the funds??" - Plain and simple, ADOPTION. It is not cheap to adopt one child, let alone two. We must pay for and complete a home study, pay court fees, pay for all new forms of ID, and of course lawyer fees to make this whole thing happen. "If you can't even afford to adopt them, how will you afford to take care of them?" - When the girls came to our home, we literally had NOTHING for having a child. Let alone, two. We invested thousands of dollars into the necessities. Food, clothing, beds, school, Dr. appointments,  the list goes on. We did everything times two. It added up very quickly. We promise we can afford to take care of them, we just need some help making them ours! :) It took swallowing our pride to even create this page, but we can't wait any longer to make these girls a forever part of our family!!!
