Onnaka's Journey

Just wanted to give an update to everyone wondering about little miss Onnaka. So as most people know, she was driven by ambulance to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee yesterday after doctors discovered a brain tumor by doing an MRI. They have been running tests around the clock, they performed a surgery last night to put a shunt in and drain out fluid. They are testing that fluid which could take a few days to come with any results. The surgery went good, and she is in good spirits. It is helping relieve some pressure off her brain. They have scheduled to do an extensive MRI on her spine today to make sure nothing has traveled down. They MRI showed something has kind of branched out from the tumor, and they have seen spots on the MRI, so they are trying to figure out what that is at this point. The tumor she has is located in front of her pituitary gland. They are currently still in the process of setting up a specialized pediatric team for her, and at this point we feel she has some pretty great people working with and for her!!! Please continue to pray and send love to this baby girl as her whole world has changed drastically and for her parents while they still try to process all the information. They have been bombarded with tons of messages, friend requests, texts, and calls, and are dealing with round the clock doctors and nurses coming in. They want to have every moment they can with their baby girl until we figure out whats next. I will try my best to update everyone as soon as Jacob and Rhonda contact me throughout the rest of this entire process! Please also keep their other kids in your thoughts as they are currently without their mommy and daddy and little sister!!
