Hi everyone! We are One Step Films, a student-run production company at Villanova University.

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to travel to South Africa for two weeks to film a documentary about the HIV community in Johannesburg and Cape Town. We returned with many stories from powerful Black women, each of whom are working to change the system that is rigged against them.

Through our debut film, POSI+IVE, we aim to tell the stories of those we encountered in an empowering and honest way. We want to dismantle stereotypes, challenge perspectives, and stimulate conversation about the way black women are viewed and treated in our local and global society, and therefore ignite change "one step" at a time.

BUT! We cannot make this happen without your help. For POSI+IVE to reach its full potential, it will come at a high financial cost. Everyone on this team is a volunteer so ALL of the money we raise will go directly to the production of this film.
