Prison Families Anonymous

$2,775 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 33 people in 45 months
Prison Families Anonymous (PFA), is a support program for families who have a loved one involved in the juvenile or criminal justice system. The goal of PFA is to help the families get through this difficult time. PFA offers information, linkages to re-entry resources, support groups, and volunteer services for “those who are serving their time on the outside”. We also offer Reentry services to those coming home. Through this support, families and friends learn to cope with incarceration and the transition of family reunification.

Our entire organization right now is being administered by volunteers. We need to be able to hire a part time coordinator to administer our programs.

We are also hoping to expand our program to provide a dedicated support system for the children of the incarcerated and eventually a support group for the formerly incarcerated.

Donations would be greatly appreciated.

PFA would also like to thank the following individuals for their much appreciated and generous contributions:

Lorraine Jackson, Judith Brink, Vilma Donovan, Sheila Roberts, Sheila Rule, Gail Sullivan, Linda King, Steve Rufa, Susan McCasland Percoco, Sherry Goldstein, Leah Gitter, Laurel Coston, Kathy Kearns, Rachel Wiener, Adrienne Dammacco, Haydee Tirado, Pat Dellatto, Art Schorr, Sandra Fathi, Elaine Friedman, and all of the anonymous donors.

Many many thanks to you Barbara and all at PFA for your devotion and dedication to providing a support group where those of us who have been incarcerated you offer a very important reminder: We must NOT hold ourselves back from future achievements no matter how broken we may feel post release. PFA reinforces this truth like no other. Thank you PFA
