22 US Veterans Commit Suicide Every Day.
Ralph Brown, a prior service US Marine, and his brother Bob, are the current World Record Holders for the Smallest Powerboat to Cross The Atlantic Ocean, unassisted and unescorted. They actually have a total of four world records in boating. We tell you this so you will believe, they are really going to do this. They both grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida watching the rockets and eventully the Space Shuttle launches.
Ralph is raising $350,000 to build the boat to beat the pants off of a $15,000,000 French boat in a world circumnavigation event. He also needs an additional $650,000 for operational budget for a total of $1 Million dollars.
There is also a Briish team getting ready to go after the same record. We have challenged the British Team to make a race out of it.
This will make the world a better place because it will create a competition between the world's leading hydrodynamic technology experts to make ships and boats more fuel efficient and promote sustainable technologies. Competition often brings out the best ideas.
We have already invested about $750,000 in this project includding the value of the donations. ***Much of the boat is already built.
All the fiberglass has already been donated by SearTex USA.
All the resin has already been donated by Gurit USA
All the core materials have already been donated by Gurit USA.
All the paint is to be donated by InterLux.
All the actuators have already been donated by Lenco.

We started building the racer with our funds and funds from a good friend Richard G. We went ahead and started the build so that people would believe us. In the process, we were promised a large investment from an Oklahoma basesd oil trader. He lost his shirt in some deal and was not able to keep his promise.
I am turning to the public for the funds necessary to make this happen. I have already mortgaged my house and everything I have. I have hundreds actually thousands of hours of work in this project.
This idea came about in the process of developing hydrodynamic technology necessary to make a boat run through super shallow water and to remain safe on the high seas, two ideas that are generally mutually exclusive. We literally started in my back yard with my brother-in-law helping me in canvas tents.
We have a small shop in Hudson, Florida on about two acres of land, used by Dream Boats Global. Dream Boats Global is my company. Hudson is located just north of the Tampa / Clearwater area. We have all the tools necessary. We have all of our molds already buit. Dream Boats Global will finish the building of the racer at a super discounted rate.
We are going up against the record set by a 15 million dollar French boat built with the most expensive materials and the greatest experts on the planet. Showing them that good old fashioned Americian Back Yard Technology and a fraction of the cost can beat the pants off them.
The powerboat record for going around the planet is 61 days set by a New Zealand team in a $3 millon dollar boat. The sail boat record is 45 days in the French $15 millon dollar boat.
We plan to beat both of them and the British team.... with a boat built at a fraction of the cost. Not just beat them.... but beat the pants off them.
We will use the publicity from the event to help kick off Project Gratitude. Projet Gratitude's job will be to find and or create jobs for Veterans, the best way to prevent suicide. These vets need a job and a purpose in life. The last thing these guys need is a disability check to sit at home and remember what went wrong in a war. War sucks, and it is always full of terrible things...but sometimes someone has to do it. Lets not abandon these men and women.
We are in talks with a movie company from Europe, they want to make a movie out of it.
