NEXT NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING: 8/26 6PM East Nashville Precinct Conference Room

----

Hello Friends of Oakwood Park!

Thanks to all the smiling faces that came out for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and met and mingled with your neighbors as well as Mayor David Briley and District 8 Council Member Nancy VanReece (NVR).

The initial renovations of the trails, playgrounds, and courts were made possible by an initial $1 million dollars of funding. At the ribbon cutting, Mayor Briley pledged that if we can demonstrate increased use of the park after the city's initial investment, then we can soon expect further renovations.

This community GoFundMe is our way of signaling to our community leaders that we care about the place that we have created and want to foster positive use of the park for this and future generations.

Please find "Friends of Oakwood Park" ON FACEBOOK  and post or DM with any questions. Thanks!
