OAKLAND CLEAN UP TEAM SUPPLIES/FOOD

Thanks for your support and interest in The Oakland Clean Up Team....

The Oakland Clean Up Team is a group of 100% volunteers/residents from all over Oakland (not limited to a select group) that unify together to make our own community a better place. We look for the WORST PARTS OF OAKLAND voilence and appearance wise and clean it up. Every event is OPEN TO EVERYONE no matter age or race.  We have had infants from 10 months to grown adults working together to make change. Not only will our events change the appearance but it will also BRING STRANGERS TOGETHER and show others in the community to LOVE EACH OTHER and their community. The group was started after being tired of all the senseless murders/violence in hope to GET PEOPLE TO UNIFY and give positive vibes. Our slogan is CLEANED FOR US BY US, meaning that with this being our city we make ourselves responsible for the improvement and maintanace in having a beautiful and clean environment.  Our last event was from 82nd to 73rd and E.14 (international blvd). We cleaned both sides of the streets . We had about 50 people out and our next is expected to be alot bigger. Filled up 50+ bags of garbage from the streets. During the event the community did nothing but hunk horns showing love and thank us for what we were doing. 

OUR NEXT EVENT WILL BE OCTOBER 1ST. WE WILL BE MEETING AT 3000 SAN PABLO (WEST OAKLAND). STARTS AT 12PM SHARP. EVERYONE IS INVITED!

The money raised will provide The Oakland Clean Up Team with supplies such as gloves, rakes, brooms/dust pans, bags, wagon to transport everything, transportation, and other things needed to complete our mission. Also after the event most of the money will go to thanking everyone who volunteered by having a local caterer cook food/drinks for everyone. This will also give the group a chance to network with each other.
