I wish I had the words but, so simply, there are none.
Heartbreakingly, on the afternoon of December 22, the Oakes’ family home unexpectedly engulfed into flames. Unfortunately, and with great sadness, their family home is considered a total loss.
No stranger to heart ache, the Oakes Family lost their beloved husband, father, and friend on May 26, 2016 after a three time battle with Leukemia. Despite the trials and tribulations that life has handed them after the unimaginable loss of Todd, they continue to tackle each and every day with Todd’s can do attitude while living out his motto that, “No one fights alone!”
Some say there are physical angels walking amongst this earth and there’s no doubt that the Oakes Family are some of them. Their kind, compassionate, and generous hearts are always the first to help, encourage, and inspire those around them.
Friends, family, those near and far, please join us in showing our undivided love and support for the Oakes Family.
We know that nothing could replace the ever lasting memories and material items that have been lost, but our hope is that this gift will give them a starting point.
