The NFB Bell Academy Of New York

There is no denying that children are the key to our future, and adequate literacy skills unlocks the door for tomorrow's youth . The New York State Braille Enrichment Literacy and Learning Academy is a wonderful program that affords blind and lo vision children, ages 4-12,an opportunity to further foster literacy, socialization, orientation &mobility skills and fun. The NYS BELL Academy is the only summer program in New York State that has a loving, devoted , passionate and experienced staff of low vision/blind coordinators,educators, mentors and volunteers.
It takes a village to raise a child and here at NYS BELL academy we believe that each child is reachable and most definitely teachable but we need your help to keep this amazing summer program flourishing, so let's all band together as a community to help keep BELLs ringing for our blind youngsters throughout New York State!
