Dear Family and Friends,

We are creating this page to help support an amazing woman through a very rough journey of fighting cancer.
Valorie is many things to different people. She is a daughter, a wife, a mother of 4, a grandmother of 6, Sister to 8 and a wonderful aunt to too many to count!
She has been owner operator of her beauty salon Headlines for 10 and a half years. Valorie has worked very hard to be where she is today.
If any of you have had the pleasure of meeting or knowing Valorie you know she is always smiling, cracking jokes, laughing.
She takes pride in her kids and grandkids they are her world. Her kindness and her own sacrifice for her family
can't be measured. She always puts everyone first before herself. She would do anything for anyone including a stranger.
Her moto is be kind and loving and if you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything at all.

On April 12th 2016, Valorie was scheduled for removal of colon cancer stage 4 and complete hysterectomy
Which there was a cyst on her ovaries the size of a lg. Cantaloupe.
Valorie spent a couple weeks in the hospital recovering and trying to grasp what would be occurring in the weeks to come. She had her port put in that will distribute the chemo medicine to her body. Her oncologist determined the best thing for her cancer is to distribute the medicine to her every other week. Her first round of Chemo was May 11th, 2016
She will travel to Springfield Mo. from Urbana 200 miles twice a week every other week until her oncologist feels like she can stop her Chemo.
With her friends, family and God's help we can all be a part of her journey to get our girl back before this all took place.
If you can donate anything it would be so appreciated and mean the world to her and all of her family. The funds will be used for travel expenses to and from chemo, medication that she needs during chemo. She also has to take a pill every day for the rest of her life that is thousands of dollars and to help make ends meet.
Val is going to try to work a couple of hours a week and if she feels ok she may do more or less depending on how she feels. She says she is going to beat this cancer and I know she will because once she puts her mind to something she will do it. She needs our support and love to help her along in this chapter of her life. Thank you all for you prayers and your support,  Her Story isn't over yet.
