Nursing Service Trip to Uganda

Hi! My name is Casey and  I am currently a junior nursing student at the University of Scranton! This intercession (January 2019) I will be traveling with my fellow nursing students, christianity students and health administration students to several locations in Uganda, including Kampala, Masaka and Buhoma. We will spend 14 days providing health services to children and their families. We will also help build homes, visit churches, and immerse ourselves in the Ugandan culture. The attached video is from last years trip, I feel it best explains the nature of the service trip.  I  am asking for $1000 to help cover expenses necessary to get me to Uganda, as well as gifts (i.e. footballs, soccer balls, toothbrushes, school supplies, etc.) for the Ugandans. I feel so blessed to be given this incredible opportunity to serve this population. I know this will be a life changing experience and I can only hope to leave as great an impact on their lives as they will leave on mine.  Any donation would be incredibly appreciated, thank you all so much for your support!
