WHO WE ARE
WE ARE are 18 Roosevelt High School students who have been selected to participate in an incredible opportunity. In March of 2016 we will be traveling to Andalucía, Spain for the first time. We are a mix of upper level Spanish classes, Spanish Immersion and Spanish Heritage students. We will spend two weeks immersed in the country to improve our Spanish and to expand our understanding of other cultures. We are excited for this experience and are working hard to prepare for the trip.
PURPOSE OF FUNDRAISING
We were awarded a grant through Intercultural Student Experience (ISE) that covers 80% of the cost and we have to fundraise the remaining 20%. Your generous gift will help fund this incredible travel opportunity for all of us.
HOW WILL THE MONEY BE USED
These funds will be used to pay for various aspects of the trip such as:
> meals not included in the program
> optional activities in the program
> transportation to/from airport
> passport, visa, and other documents
WHEN WE NEED THE FUNDS
We need to fundraise the money by March 1, 2016.
WHY THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO US
Here are some of our thoughts as to why this trip is important for us:
