Costa Rica Class Trip for Ethan

My son, Ethan has been selected by his Spanish teacher to experience a once in a life time trip to Costa Rica with a few members of his 8th grade Advanced Spanish class.  This trip will take place at the end of June.  The cost of the trip is approximately $4000 with all the extras needed (passport, shots, spending money, etc). Unfortunately, funding the trip has become a barrier to him attending.  I have lost my job.  I have put off asking for help as long as I can in hopes of being able to handle this myself, but I am  now at the point of having to tell my son that he can't go.  He has worked so hard for this trip, both academically and financially, doing whatever small jobs he can find, but at 14 that's not easy.  
Let me tell you about my son.  Ethan has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ADHD.  Most people wouldn't know that about him.  He is socially shy, but with the help of his Spanish teacher, who has also mentored him in Drama, he is coming out of his shell.   He is a great student with a heart of gold.  He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who asked.  Ethan NEVER asks for anything.  He has given up countless hours of time with the family so that his twin sister can pursue her dreams as we cart her to and from sporting events, and he never complains. EVER. This trip means the world to him.  It is all he has talked about since the end of 6th grade.  
If you could find it in your hearts to donate to my son's dream, we would be forever grateful.  
The money will be used to pay for the trip, his passport and any incidentals that may come along.  He is working on raising some of his spending money on his own.
