North tees hospital neonatal staff

Hi, if you are reading this then you know who I am, recently my son was born. The pregnancy was an incredibly tough one from the word go, it's hard putting our story into just a few short words but here we go.

At 24 weeks my fiance's waters broke. Which is not incredibly rare at all, however this was topped off with a serious infection that threatened both their lives. If it wasn't for ward 22 at North tees hospital I most probably wouldn't have been holding my son in the intensive Care unit earlier today. They worked effortlessly to make sure both were safe and I cannot thank them enough, unfortunately my own funds can only stretch so far.

To top this off the birth itself was quite traumatic and again it could have swung either way. But the midwives and doctors had other ideas. They all had their hand as well as my incredible fiance at making sure my Oakley arrived into this world. He now has round the clock care. It is because of this care he is smashing each goal that has been set and will hopefully be home with us very soon!

I have noticed however that the place is in dire need of some new equipment , the doctors, widwives and nurses also deserve so much more. And I really hope I can raise some funds so they can buy something for their staff room to enjoy personally.

What happened to Tasha and I could easily happen to anyone else. You would then rely on these incredible people to everything they can in order to deliver your child safely into your world.
