Non Racist Border Wall Solution

WE HAVE A NEW APPROACH, BUT WE MUST ALL TAKE ACTION.
In December of 2018 an Air Force Veteran, began a Gofundme campaign to build a border wall and it enjoyed tremendous growth reaching $20 million. As some Presidents (former and current), have avoided combat and their civic duty by dodging the draft, this Airman volunteered to defend our nation. It is without a doubt that this Airman deserves the respect of every American as do all other Airmen.
This new campaign is very similar to this other Veteran. Our names are Fernando Chavez and Andy Luna, both Army Veterans having served in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division and the 25th Infantry Division. I was in Balad during the year this Airman was injured, in fact, I was narrowly struck with a mortar strike myself.
We cannot keep quiet knowing the majority of Americans feel that his campaign has grown with the support of Racism. We fully understand this Veterans position and some of his supporters in which they are afraid that these immigrants will take theirs or their children’s future jobs. These Wall supporters are fighting for the future of their children, but are these two groups really so different? These immigrants are only here to better the future of their children.
WHY IS IT OUR CONCERN?
In 2009 the Honduran democratically elected president was ousted in a coup by a military General who had been trained in the U.S. Their infrastructure was destroyed and their economy was destabilized which allowed drugs and gangs to take control. They have made significant improvements, but ten years is not enough time to rebuild a nation. This was true for Germany, Italy, or most recently Libya. Similarly, the European Union recently had an “immigrant crisis”. The top 3 nationalities of immigrants came from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq, respectively. Coincidentally, the European Union was actively participating in these conflicts.
The reasons for these conflicts are above my pay grade, but I am certain that the innocent victims are the Children.
This Gofundme campaign is a Bipartisan approach to finding a solution to this humanitarian border crisis. Having visited “ground zero” myself, I know as Americans we can show the world that we are not the Racist lunatics that our President represents us to be. There are many Americans currently volunteering South of the Border offering medical and humanitarian assistance. We as Americans can find a solution that is acceptable to both political parties as we have found solutions to so many other difficult problems.
WHY DO WE NEED IMMIGRANTS?
It is estimated that in 2034 our Social Security Fund will become bankrupt. This is partly because the government has borrowed from it and cannot pay it back. The only way to keep this funded is by Americans having more children than the current rate, raising taxes, or allowing new immigrants to become citizens and pay taxes. The most reasonable answer is to allow some immigrants in. I am a total advocate of granting citizenship to immigrants of high moral values who have no criminal records and will integrate to the American way of life. They need to be prepared to take an oath or serve in the military and promise to put America first.
BUT WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION!
As you read this, children are being kept in Border Patrol detention cells at temperatures of 70 degrees with no blankets forced to sleep on concrete floors. 70 degrees may not seem cold to someone from Canada, but for these children 70 degrees Fahrenheit is what they experience during their Winter weather. These children experience trauma at these facilities, and recently, even Death. The Border Patrol lacks the funding to deal with this influx, and so a child dying again in their custody is certainly possible. This Gofundme campaign is primarily to help the children. They cannot fathom why they are here or why they traveled thousands of miles to become homeless. They are oblivious to these political motives or whether they have good or bad parents for bringing the along. If we allow these children to suffer, we cannot be honest children of God ourselves.
We often blame the youth for their shortcomings but maybe it is us as adults who deserve the blame. How many times have we stood by as another child suffered because “it was not our problem”? How can we tell a child it is not ok to bully or be racist when our own President is both a racist and a bully? Who are we to tell a child to stand up for what is Right when we sit quietly when a person violates another? We will be the change that America needs. We will take the wheel and lead us back to being the Greatest Country. We will be the beacon of hope, We The People!
OUR SOLUTION IS TO TAKE ACTION. TO BUILD AN ECONOMIC WALL.
Economic wall? Yes, a wall that is comprised of a good trade relationship. Borders which are thriving on both sides where there is no need to immigrate illegally. A border of which Germany and France share for instance.
If we reach our funding goal, we will travel to Tijuana and set up a facility to build temporary housing for these immigrants. We will work with local government infrastructure to loan us a parcel of land and in return we will have the visitors volunteer in helping the local community. We will primarily house families, underage children and adults of high moral integrity. We will provide them with basic housing, childcare, first aid, and security as they wait their turn to seek asylum. This is a legal process and we will make sure they do it by the book. If the authorities accept their case, we will continue to take care of them as long as possible. If their case is denied, we will provide them the necessary support to help them return to their native countries if that is what they chose. During their stay we will keep them productive by giving them on-the-job training on certain job skills so that they can be helpful in host countries or return to their native countries with a skill to allow them to survive. With the help of American volunteers, they will run their own housing communities. Classes will be offered on American values, customs, and language for those who have been approved by U.S. authorities.
As a minority, I appreciate the platform America has provided me. Although I myself have been the victim of racism, I can tell you that there is more good than bad. I have had the great fortune of working with people of every race and ethnicity, and I can tell you that America is a great country. In the military there was no race, we were all Soldiers. Asian, Black, Latino, White, or purple did not exist. We were all brothers and this is something our Politicians would know if they served in combat. We cannot let the few bad apples spoil the bunch. This is the time to show the world who we really are and what we represent. We are a good people with love in our hearts for everyone. I call on you to Take Action!
Protests and petitions have not done enough. We cannot rely on the government to solve every problem, we are adults. We are Americans. Nothing is impossible, and we will teach this to our children. Once we have concluded this Gofundme, we will take what we have learned to combat homelessness. We may again ask for your help, but if you take Action, we will be ready to assist any American who shares our vision.

We are ready do begin now! Our experience combined consists of over a decade in design & manufacturing, supply & logistics, Security and Nursing. Please make the sacrifice and donate what you can, even if it is $1. We would rather have 1 million people donate $1 than 1 person donate $1 million dollars. If we exceed our funding goal, we will build additional housing communities and continue our mission. We need to show the world that people with compassion and empathy are the majority, and majority rules.
