I went to Standing Rock for a little over a week in September. I had been following the news of it, but there was so much not being covered i.e. graves being dug up, peaceful protesters being assaulted and going missing etc. What is happening to the land and people in the name of big oil and the almighty dollar is heinous. They need our support. I will be helping with winter sustainability and I will be writing about the news I see and hear about around camp. There will be other ways to help I am sure and I will help however I can, but this will be my main focus. If you care about the environment, the Native Americans right to no longer be  terrorized and human rights all around, than please contribute if possible. Share this and shed a light on injustice. We are not violent as N.D. law enforcement would like you to believe. We can make a difference peacefully. Power to the people ✊

Hello friends n fam. I'm in Eugene back from Standing Rock..for now. ALL of my savings got caught up in a project for Sacred Stone. I was supposed to be reimbursed and did enough work to have added to my savings significantly. Unfortunately all assets tied to Sacred Stone have been frozen and/or seized including my savings. I have a job lined up in Alaska that begins the first of may and am looking for side jobs until then. Donations are appreciated but if you hear about any temp work please let me know... gunalchéesh
This was so far from a singular event.

I'm omw back to Sacred Stone. There will be a blockade of sorts. Armed forces will not be allowing entry in a few days or so..not even food/firewood. I've been working on getting lumber for camp and spent the rest of my savings and am waiting for reimbursement that time and again falls through. I hate asking, but if you can help it would be much appreciated. I hope to cover my upciming storage and phone bill. My account has been in the red for a few weeks and loved ones have been waiting on my reimbursement as well after loaning me last months bill money. It's been very trying, but this is of the utmost importance I believe. I gave up my home, decent job and comforts because this will effect us and the earth for generations to come. My savings should have lasted beyond now if it werent for reimbursement issues. I have been thanked by Sioux elders and others for staying strong for them and the land. Thank you to all that help in all your different ways

Been working on staying warm and evacuating those with or at risk of hypothermia and frostbite.. a bit ironic because at the same time the woman that loaned my brother a tipi is now expecting her tipi back in the midst of this bitter blizzardy winter. Also shuttled back clean water for camp. Have helped a tipi pole crew as well to bring back poles for winter lodging and help with miscellaneous community tasks on the daily. My brother and I help folks put up and tear down their tipis and offer a place to warm up with warm food and drink as well. The community watches out for one another (aside from the woman demanding her tipi back during a literal blizzard. Thankfully, they see our time and energy spent protecting and empowering the community and have stood together reassuring us that they will in turn help make sure that we will be kept warm and safe as well...it is truly beautiful to see.

The U.S. should never be so comfortable abusing its citizins. Their violent racist tactics against indigineous peoples is long overdue to end.
