No Casino Peterborough OMB Appeal

No Casino Peterborough is a citizen-led effort to protect families, jobs, and green space from the casino city council would like to build.

Great News! At our OMB pre-hearing on September 13th, No Casino Peterborough was successful and will be proceeding with a full hearing in May of 2017! We would not have been able to come this far without the community support we have received, but there is still a long road ahead.

Our dedication to protecting the Peterborough we all call home is what drives us in this campaign. Unfortunately, our passion alone is not enough to win this appeal and stop the casino from ripping our social fabric to shreds.

We need to find professionals such as lawyers, planners, environmental consultants, and others who can provide the sort of expertise to show that the facts don’t support this casino any more than the people do.

We remain the only citizens group in this process. City Hall, Peterborough businesses, Shorelines and even the OLG themselves are all represented in these hearings, and with your help we can make sure the people of Peterborough are too!
