No Shave TEPvember

This November, the brothers of Tau Epsilon Phi will refrain from shaving to benefit St. Mary's Children's Hospital. The Tau Beta Chapter at the University of Maryland will be joining with the Tau Alpha Chapter at the University of Florida for the first time to support this cause. Both chapters will be coming together with hopes to raise as much money for St. Mary's Childrens Hospital. 

St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children is committed to improving the health and quality of life for children and families with special needs. St. Mary’s Healthcare System is one of only a handful of organizations around the country that is dedicated to providing intensive rehabilitation, specialized care, and education to children with special needs and life-limiting conditions.

One of our brothers, Benjamin Portnoy and his family have a very close relationship with St. Mary's Children's Hospital. When Ben was nine years old, his twin brother Zachy, passed away from a brain tumor. Zachy spent a few years at St. Marys receiving treatment and care. St. Marys did whatever they could to make sure that Zachy would be able to come home to his family. Like Zachy, over 4000 children depend on St. Marys every day for medicial treatment and to stay healthy.
