Pebbles' Medical Fund

This is Pebbles, a little fighter that needs a bone graft.

Here's her story: We got a desperate call about a kitten that had been kept in a crate without access to a litter box for 2 weeks after she was caught playing with an electrical cord and shocking herself.  We took her in immediately.

She was covered in her own urine and sounded congested. The “congestion” noise she was making turned out to be a hole in the roof of her mouth, caused by the electrocution.

We got her cleaned up and took her into surgery. We had a skin graft performed but it did not completely close the hole. We need to do a bone graft. We are hoping it will be enough, but she may need another surgery as she grows.

Through all this, Pebbles has remained a bundle of love and happiness. She is so happy to be out of that awful situation, and she knows she is safe and loved. She is always purring. She stole everyone’s heart right away. We just can’t let this little champion down.
