Nippering Cemetery Unmarked Graves

RE: Seeking donations to place engraved marker stones on 90 unmarked graves at Nippering Cemetery, Dumbleyung.
A considerable (somewhat sentimental) amount of effort and research has been carried out to mark 90 graves at the Nippering Cemetery, some going back 96 years. Kukerin residents carried out this initiative some 20 years ago at their cemetery. All those buried there are part of our history and in their time, significantly contributed to building our community.
This in the hope you will assist to find and connect with families of those on the unmarked grave list (Below). Any connections found may wish to help with some financial assistance in acknowledging their descendants. On a lot of occasions, relatives of the deceased were always going to mark the graves with headstones, but it is one of those things which can be overlooked in our busy lives and now, this may be our motivation to do so.
I have sourced an inexpensive marker stone suitable for the job. This marker has been used to identify several hundred graves at the Town of Northam by the Rotary Club 25 years ago and have stood the test of time. The marker stones are unpretentious but are very suitable for the purpose.
The next step is to raise finances to complete this initiative. Each grave marker will cost $35 plus GST, a total of $38.50 each, along with additional freight and installation expenses bringing the initiative fundraising target to $5000. All donations towards the completion of this initiative however small, would be most welcome. Our hope is that the generosity of people (connected or not) will support the efforts carried out by a few to complete the job. If you are unable to donate online through gofundme, a trust account has also been opened by the Shire of Dumbleyung (as an administrating body only).
