Nic's American Pinball Tour!

Donation protected

Thank you for expressing an interest in participating in my "EM (electro-mechanical) Pinball Tour" across North America!

I've never done this kind of thing before. After spending most of my life in north Texas, the time has finally come to do a "deep dive" into America (and Canada!) and help as many people as possible with their classic EM pinball machines... and hear their stories.

I've found the pinball community to be an awesome bunch of people. We tend to be as diverse as we are opinionated... high-spirited, fiercely independent, and enjoy sharing our games with others. To me, the social connections are the real treasure. There's nothing quite like being in a room full of lights, laughter, and friendly competition. It's just the best thing ever!

At the moment, I am planning the main route. After the conclusion of the Texas Pinball Festival this March, the tour will begin in Dallas, TX and wind across the midwest/southeast down into Florida. Then I will travel up the east coast, across the plains into Canada, to the Pacific Northwest, down the west coast, and finally loop back through the southwest (possibly via the Rocky Mountain region). It will be a LONG trip of many months and I'm excited to get going!

My goal is to keep costs low in order to help as many people as possible along the way. I won't have a documentary team or camera crew... it's just me. I'm doing all of this via a "sharing economy" model by staying overnight with the hosts and using a suggested donation of $200 per stop... for either a full 8-hour day teaching/fixing/etc. or two 4-hour back-to-back evenings (easier for weeknights). Times are approximate, of course, and will likely go longer... because EM's are indeed a labor of love!

If you are visiting this page and would like to support this project, feel free to make a donation here. I will use whatever funds collected to extend the trip as far and as long as possible and keep the photos and videos coming to you. Viva le pinball!
