Hurricane Michael help for Spettels
Donation protected
The Spettels.
This year has been something else for us. First our two year old son has had over 8 surgeries and procedures done this year, and been hospitalized almost 3 months of this year all together. Now hurricane Michael has come threw and set us on our heels once again.
Michael devestated our small town of Blountstown Fl, neighbors had to cut our way out of our
neighborhood, and we aren’t anywhere near done. Our sons room and our room were damaged by falling trees and sheet rock and insulation have fallen and coated everything... with rain coming within the week and holes in our roof, it isn’t looking good. We need some help for funds to get tarps and cover the damage for now.
Our family vehicle was also crushed, and as of now we have no way to get us and all of our
5 young children around (ages 8, 6, 5, 2 and 6 months).... this is particularly upsetting for
us because our 2 year old suffers from Chronic Kidney Disease and Eagle Barrett Syndrome, along with sever anemia and other conditions... having a reliable vehicle is vital to get him to doctors appointments and his specialists in Gainesville (3 hours away) is vital for us. We currently charge his feeding pump in our car as we are out of power for the for seeable future.
Anything helps, and if you can’t give, please share. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those effected by Michael
