Missing Terry Floyd Mine Search

Help Daryl continue his search for his brother Terry, missing as a 12 year old since 1975. With no government assistance forthcoming, Daryl has put together the evidence & is certain he knows where Terry’s remains are – down a mineshaft he has been painstakingly digging down with the help of many wonderful people. A very costly & labour intensive search.

Terry went missing from Avoca, Victoria, Australia on 28th June 1975. He was last seen standing by a panel van – this van was parked a mere 200m from the mine now being searched. When the person who sighted Terry looked back at the van again a while later, it was still there but Terry had disappeared. His parents & brother never gave up looking for him. Unfortunately both of his parents have passed away never knowing what happened to Terry, or being able to give him a proper burial. His brother Daryl continues the search to this day, determined to bring his little brother home.

Daryl has spent months at the mineshaft over the years, digging through the layers with the help of others & costly equipment. The recent discovery of a necklace there, confirmed by the local jeweller as from that era & one sold in his shop at the time, is more than likely Terry’s. This gives great hope that the discovery of Terry’s remains is not too far away.

Money is needed to continue this search & bring Terry home. Please help find Terry so he can be buried with dignity.
