NEXXICE Senior is a group of elite athletes training as part of Skate Canada's national team in the art and athleticism of synchronized skating. We are a small but mighty group of skaters from Burlington, ON, Canada hoping to share the beauty and entertainment of our sport in a new part of the world.
We are the 2009 and 2015 world champions and were world silver medallists at the 2012, 2013 and 2014 World Synchronized Skating Championships. We continue to search for ways to push the bar higher.
We have recently accepted an invitation to skate at the Grand Prix Final in Barcelona, Spain! We are exceptionally excited to compete alongside the figure skating world's top athletes and look forward to presenting synchronized skating on a new world stage. This is the first time synchro has been included in an ISU Grand Prix event and we would greatly apreciate your help to get there! Your donation goes directly to flying our skaters across the pond so that we may expand the world of synchronized skating one step further.
We will depart for Barcelona on December 6, 2015 and will compete at the ISU Grand Prix Final on December 11, 2015!
