I am a United States Army Veteran and with my wife are currently raising 4 wonderful kids. 2 boys 16 & 14 and 2 girls 12 & 2. I have deployed to Iraq twice and served a total of 12 years, 6 active duty and 6 reserves. Let me start out by saying this is very hard for me to do. However I have tried all other options at this point in time. I live in a 3 bedroom 1976 Single Wide Trailer.
I am looking for help with getting a new well dug for my house and to get my roof fixed. My well went out over a year ago. I have contacted everyone I could think of to get a new pump installed and no one carries a pump for my well any more. I currently have a 2 inch well with a vertical pump that sits down in a well pit outside my house. Every well company that I have talked to says that even if I was able to get a pump for it that it may not work because it could be dried up or the lines rusted out. It was installed between 30 and 40 years ago. I have been told that I have to have a new 4 or 5 inch well dug. I have searched every where for a new pump to install and was able to find 1 however it didn't match up with the pipes coming out of the ground to be installed. I have been running a hose from my neighbors house this entire time that my well hasn't been working. However they have recently moved out and they have disconnected the power at their house so their well is no longer pumping water because the pump needs electric.
On top of all that my roof has started leaking in several spots of my house and causing a lot of water damage to the ceiling. My floor is also falling through in several spots. I know that my house is an older trailer however I can't afford to have it removed and to buy a new one. So I am looking for help to pay for the new well and supplies to fix the ceiling, walls and floor.
