A New Roof for La Casa

We have all made our families complete by adopting our children from  La Casa de La Madre y El Niño in Bogota, Colombia.  This is a cause that is very close to our hearts.  Our three families share this special bond and we are coming together now because La Casa needs our help.  

La Casa is a not for profit organization that provides a loving home for children and expecting mothers that have nowhere else to go.  There is an urgent need to replace the roof where approximately 400 children live throughout the course of the year.   The roof is in complete disrepair, there are major leaks, the water drainage system is failing and there is the risk of exposure to Asbestos.  These children and the staff are at risk.  We need to raise $150,000 in order to properly replace the roof.  

We know that summer vacation is upon us and everyone is leaving for the holidays.  We would have waited but unfortunately we do not have the luxury of time. We are asking for everyone's help because we can not do this without you.  We thank you on behalf of the children for helping us get to the goal!
