New pc monitors (3+)

I'm a computer freelance programmer and electronics designer. My work frequently involves switching between as many as a dozen windows between my editors, reference material, research, etc. Doing this on only one, or even two monitors is annoying at best, and significantly reduces productivity.

My 3rd monitor died over a year ago, and as of last night, my 2nd monitor, to the right in the photo, gave up the ghost. The remaining monitor is the smallest and oldest of my monitors. I need to replace these monitors with a matched set of 3 or even 4 modern monitors in the immediate future.

Freelance work is come and go, and mine is mostly friends and acquaintences. So my spending budget is nearly non existant. 3 of the cheapest decent monitors I can find will cost around $500. 3 or 4 good monitors will cost upwards of $600-800. At the moment I'd be stretched to come up with enough for a single monitor.

I am hoping my friends appreciate me enough to help me replace my dead, dying, and ancient monitors with good modern monitors so I can continue to help them with their projects and my own.

Any money beyond the cost of new monitors will go toward things like monitor arms, or new hard drives, which I also desparately need.
