Throughout this trip Ive been asked on quite a few occasions “ So which charity are you doing this for?”

To be perfectly honest charity was never the reason I first got in the saddle and I felt that by doing it for a purpose would detract from my own personal journey. I didn't want to be bound by a route or a time frame which inevitably would of happened if this had been a “riding for” journey. It would of also meant that it would have had an end and I have no plans to stop. On top all this there was the fact that I had not spent anytime thinking about what actually mattered to me.

But things have changed. We. You. Us. We're growing a community. You're reading this because we share an ethos. Because reading, doing or making everyday more positive helps us all.

So as I sit here and let this trip saturate. Soak. Settle. I've had time to think about how we can start helping more people. Which charities to get involved with and after having a look I realise theres a much better way to do this.

Lets create our own.

So what do I want to do? Well this trip has helped me create my community, my family Uk wide. I have a bed in every town, village and hamlet across out Isles. So community is important to me.

I also know how powerful it is to receive and give help. To walk away from someone after giving them five minutes of your time or hard earned money is good for your soul. This is what we need to share and flood social media with. So im asking for help on a personal as well as social level.

What are we going to do? What do I need you to do?

I come across many many people who need help. I've stayed with family's and friends that have confided in me their problems. I've shared a coffee with people from every walk of life, sat on the street and spoken to people who are homeless through no fault of their own. People who have been in abusive relationships, suffered great loss or have been confronted with old age and when they open up to me I realise how strong they are to just be holding it together on a daily basis. The fact that they even get up and carry on amazes me and I wish I could help.

So we're going to set up a fund for ANYBODY who needs it. How will we find them? Initially through my travels but as this grows I aim to find more travellers like my self who are blessed with the opportunity to come across these people and their stories and share them all with you and show you what your donations do on a very personal level. We're going to send out Guardian Angels...Nero's Angels... who will keep an eye out for anyone who needs help. It will be organic, spontaneous and always there.

Sometimes dreams are just ideas we're to scared to purse or to proud to get help with. On a personal level I hate to ask for help but I'm going to push through that and explain what I need.

Im going to set up a go fund me account. As with any idea we need a starting point. Setting up a proper charity will take time. Usually around two months. And before that we need to be able to sustain the trip and build the idea, prove it works and build our community. That costs money. So far my only real expense has been food. For those of you that don't know I free camp. In other words I camp anywhere and use a campsite about once a week for laundry and a hot shower! Now I find my self needing money to grow an idea and build on something you've helped create.
We've been very luck to already get half the expedition money from a sponsor but need to add to that pot so we have a security blanket. We also have sponsors for communications, vet bills and insurance so things really are taking shape. I also have three very good friends who have supported me both emotionally, financially and have also had my back continuously. So Id like to thank Kevin, Tom and Nehl who are ALWAYS there pushing me outside my comfort zone like writing this article!! they have also just confirmed the local news and TV will be there on my arrival back in Bournemouth which I am quite simple shocked about. New pants please!!

So I need your help to bridge that gap between now and getting the larger sponsors on board. Many of you have written to me and asked if you can help with the trip and now Im asking for that support.
