Nepal Earthquake Rebuilding 2yrs on

In April 2015 the Nepali Village of Badegaun suffered two devistating earthquakes back to back that flattened homes and caused tremdous damage to families and the rural infastructure.
In summer of 2015 two community members, Parvati and Bhoj Rai partnered with me (Mike Kittredge) and Pacific Edge Climbing Gym to raise emergency funds to support emergency shelters and supplies for Badegaun, Nepal. Parvati grew up in the village and much of her immediate family still reside there. The event was called "Climb for Nepal" and we raised nearly $6000 USD.
In March 2017 I, along with my wife Elida travelled to Nepal for three weeks. As part of our journey we visited Badegaun to meet the people who benefitted from the 2015 "Climb for Nepal Event." We were warmly welcomed, moved by the caring nature and close community of the village, but were also saddened to see the rebuilding of the village was far from completed nearly 2 years after the earthquakes.
When we returned, we decided to work with Parvati and Bhoj to do a one month flash fundraising drive to raise money for the village so they can continue the rebuilding process and support the local orphanage in the village, which houses 17 children who lost their parents in the 2015 earthquake.
Parvati and Bhoj will be traveling to Badegaun in June of 2017 and will directly deliver all of the funds to the people who need it.
All funds raised will be split between the orphanage and community members for important and hard to come by construction materials such as cement, steel rebar, and bricks.

for any support you can provide.
