For those who read this, I ask for your help, not for me, but for my sister. In early November,

my sister Ashley, began to feel ill. She was struggling to breathe and after much persuasion, she

went to the hospital. It was there she was diagnosed with COVID-19 as so many other

Americans have. However, this isn’t a typical case of COVID where someone gets “cold like”

symptoms. As her time progressed in the hospital, it became evident that her condition was

worsening by the day. The virus has fully attacked her lungs, severely deteriorating them. The

doctors informed her that her lungs look like an 80+ year old who has smoked their whole life,

which came as shocking news to a 34-year-old healthy female who has never smoked a day in

their life. The only way to fix this is for her to have a double lung transplant and be transferred

out of state in order for that to happen. If this procedure does not happen, the end result will

be devastating to our family and something I do not wish to even think about

Ashley is a mother of 4 wonderful children who mean the world to her. This virus has taken

their mother from her children. She has gone over a month without seeing them and are now

even limited to a couple hours a week where she struggles to even be able to talk to them due

to the condition of her lungs. Thanksgiving was nonexistent, she will not be able to be with her

family for any other upcoming holiday.

I am setting up this go fund me to assist with the ever-growing medical expenses for currently

being in the hospital, the cost of the double lung transplant and being transferred out of state

and to help her family with expenses at the home. I ask for your help on behalf of my family

and her children. Any help would mean the world us.
