RAD (ASLF)/K9's On The Frontline

Ofc. Abbott is at it again (for those not familiar, Off. Abbott ran the Old Port Half Marathon last year in FULL uniform the whole way ) and is going to run the Old Port Half Marathon AGAIN in full uniform, on July 9th.  Ofc. Abbott thought that he could put his celebrity status to a good cause this year and raise money for a couple of local charities.

...Ofc. Abbott has decided that he will be running to raise money for the following 2 outstanding programs

1. K9's On The Frontline (check out their site)
"Saving dogs, saving warriors. North Edge K9, Coastal Humane Society & Embrace A Vet come together to place shelter dogs with PTSD/TBI military veterans."

2. Amy St. Laurent Foundation/ Portland ME Police R.A.D. Program (Check out their site)
"To provide self defense education to women of all ages in the community"

Officer Abbott will also be challenging other first responders (police, fire, ems and military) to run with him in their full uniforms.
