Flight Fund For Nail Camp

I am a newly certified nail artist / nail tech, working in Toronto and trying to gain more education and training in my field. While the province of Ontario does not require workers in nail salons to be licenced or certified, I have made a personal choice to become as knowledgeable and educated as possible. Unfortunately because of the lack of provincial requirements, there is also a lack of training opportunities. There are many opportunities for classes and seminars in the United States because of their state licencing requirements, but very few in Canada.

I applied for, and was awarded a scholarship to attend a four-day training event in Seattle, WA. that is full of the latest training and skills that would advance my career. While all of the costs for the event and training are covered by the scholarship, I will need to make my own travel arrangements.

I am hoping to use crowdfunding to assist me and help pay for the flight to this event so I can take my training and career to the next level.
