It is time to tell Our Story!
We hope to raise $4,000 to fund the narrative portion of the Historic Structure Report and Master Plan. The HSRMP is the document we have been working to compile over the last year that will lead to state and federal funding to Save the Tavern!
We have created this campaign for those who are unable to attend our annual Spaghetti Dinner but who want to contribute to preserving the Tavern's narrative history.
The narrative portion of the Master Plan will help give potential funders and organizations a true feel for the importance of our beloved Tavern.
We are asking you, as individuals with Tavern stories, to help us fund this portion of the Master Plan. This is your chance to tell your story - by helping us tell the story of the Tavern! Let's share in our passion and concern for our beloved Tavern!
The Unionville Preservation Society is working hard to continue the progress made at the Tavern this building season. While our local contractor, Thomas Adams, has been working very hard on the interior of the building, our architect, Steve Avdakov, and his associates have completed the first phase of the Historic Structure Report and Master Plan (HSRMP). He estimates the report will be complete by the end of this year.
Our annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be October 26, 2015 from 5-8pm at the Wagon Wheel in Madison on the Lake. Along with dinner there will be a Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and more! Tickets for the dinner are $10 and can be purchased on our website.
