My 8th Grade Passion Project

My name is Travis . I am an 8th Grade student at Durling Middle School. I am working on my 8th grade passion project that will be due at the end of the school year. For my passion project, I am required to develop, create or invent something based on what I am passionate about. I come from a military family with a brother in the Marines, a cousin in the Army and my Grandpa and Uncles were military as well. So to say that I am passionate about our US military and our Veterans is an understatement. I have chose to do a Veterans Speghetti Dinner fundraiser (Veterans will eat free) , and the proceeds will be donated to Home Front Moms and a local Veteran charity. Home Front Moms is the local chapter of the national non-profit, Blue Star Moms. They collect donations and put together care packages to send to our troops. Everything to do with this project from begining to end has to be accomplished by my own efforts. I will need funds for start up for things such as, reserving the hall to hold the event, ticket printing and other items to get my project underway. Because i have to raise any funds to get the project going I decided to create this gofundme page to start donations. Anything helps and I appreciate your help with my success!
