Bring Carol Ann Home/Memorial fund!

In aproximately 1979 my best friend Linda Jean Cole-Phelps's sister Carol Ann Cole went missing at the age of 16. We have searched for years to find her or find out what happened to her, but have had little success.
Recently we caught a break!
Over the years I wrote and placed 100's of craigslist ads seeking information about Carol Ann's wherabouts. Recently, a 911 operator in Louisiana noticed one of my ads and thought the picture resembled a composite drawing she had seen of an unidentified victim known as Bossier Doe. The police had made a facebook page for Bossier Doe hoping to find leads. The 911 operator then mentioned my ad to someone in the Sheriffs department, and I was contacted. To make a long story short, after DNA came back it was confirmed that Bossier Doe was in fact Carol Ann Cole my best friends sister. Sadly Carol Ann had been murdered and her body was found in a wooded area in January of 1981. However police were never able to identify her until now.
So though this page started as a fund to find her and bring her home, it has turned into a fun to at long last lay her to rest. Please help us to give Carol Ann the memorial service that she deserved and purchase a headstone so that she will never again be unidentified.
