Music and Dance in our Hearts

As parents, we all want our children to be happy and successful in school. Youth at risk, vulnerable, low income, and struggling to be successful in large schools need a place that makes them feel safe and welcomed. We are so thankful for this school and the opportunities it provides for youth in our community.

One thing this school does is provide a full Mariachi, Folklorico and Arts program. Students are able to express themselves through the arts, explore their culture through dance and music, and share their talents throughout the community.

In this school music is playing throughout the day and everyone is happy as they walk the halls and hear the students singing and playing.  Music opens their minds!

There are several events throughout this school year, the International Mariachi Conference, the Rodeo Parade, Concerts, Dia de los Muertos, and much more.  We hope to raise enough money to send these students to all the events. We will need to purchase Trajas to attend the Mariachi Conference. 

As a parent, I can say that this school is giving kids a chance they may not have otherwise had, and I am so thankful this school is here to give opportunities like these to students who are in need.
