MMS Hurricane Harvey Relief

Hurricane Harvey has caused widespread, catastrophic flooding and damage in Texas and along the Gulf Coast.
More than 75% of my hometown, Houston, TX was flooded. Many people lost their homes, cars, and all of their possessions. Others lost their lives.
Since, August 29, 2017, I have been working at one of the major shelters to help people who had to evacuate their homes. Currently, we are serving around 3,000 people but we expect that number to rise.
Eventually, these people will leave the shelter and will need long-term support.
This fund will provide longer-term recovery relief to survivors in the form of food, water, hygiene products, baby supplies, toys and books (for kids), clothing, medicine, transportation, and home clean-up and repair.
All donations to this fund will exclusively support relief and recovery efforts in Houston.
