Mitchell's Field in the Galillee

$3,960 of $80,000 goal

Raised by 22 people in 33 months
In honor of Mitchell Merlis z''l,  we are deveoping a new baseball complex after him. David  Shabi, who lives in the town of Eshchar in the Galilee, is the executive director of SportSkills, which is an organization that provides sports activities for the children of Eshchar and the surrounding villages.

The Mitchell Merlis Israeli Center for Baseball presents Israeli children with the opportunity to learn how to play baseball under the tutelage of David Shabi and his talented coaching staff, in a beautiful facility surrounded by the scenic terrain of the Galilee.  This new baseball complex is being built at just the right time, as the sport of baseball has been gaining in popularity among young Israelis.

With this money that each person generously donates we will be able to complete our baseball field and provide other sport facilities for kids to enjoy.
