Hi, my name is Mike Wilson. I've been elected by my neighbors to represent California's 35th Congressional District for Bernie Sanders as a pledged delegate to the DNC 2016.
I've created this GoFundMe project to help raise the funds needed to travel and participate in the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on July 25-28.
The largest surge of popular participation in politics in recent memory is being fueled by people like you and me talking to each other and finding out that we agree on many important actionable ideas, and it's hard to avoid the feeling that "politics as usual" is ready to become a thing of the past. People caring and acting together to improve our world is now a reality, and it's growing by leaps and bounds. It's the choice we make when we come together to build a society where our full creative potential can be liberated and allowed to truly thrive!
This convention shapes up to be a very significant event for our nation, and I feel it's a huge honor, as well as a great responsibility, to be entrusted to make the case for Bernie Sanders to become our next President. I won't be voting for any other candidate in this contest under any circumstances.
