AGC Middle School Field Trip Fund

Hi, my name is Cora Haworth. I am in middle school at Academy for Global Citizenship. Our new unit for Individuals and Societies is called Silenced Voices. It is about women and people of color in early America that contributed to the world but did not get the recognition they deserved. We are considering taking a field trip to see the movie Hidden Figures. It is related to our unit because the movie is about three African American women who helped launch the first man on the moon. We only heard about the man that took the first step on the moon, never the people behind the scenes. Though we are only hearing about them now because of a movie that was made about them. We have 150 middle school students, it would be almost impossible to purchase that many tickets without taking money that is going towards more important things. It would be very helpful if you helped fund for this trip.
