Greetings, my name is Micahyu. Im an "A" student in the I.B. Program in Evans HS.
I've been chosen to participate in the "Sankofa Youth Initiative Program" through The Afrikan Kulcha School in Orlando, which culminates a 2wk journey to Ghana in the summer of 2016. There are group activities and workshops related to African History and culture which fosters Self awareness, Global awareness, Leadership Skills, a greater perception of Heritage pride along with anything else that can assist me in being a Progressively Positive Individual that can make great contributions in this modern day and age. I humbly ask for your assistance in making this enlightening journey possible. You will not regret it, because you will also be a part of my journey, as there will be uploaded video documentation of my trip and you will be able to proudly say: "Yes, I helped make that happen!"
