Medical claims for drowning survivo
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
Many of you have heard about my niece, Andrea that drowned in a freak accident related to the flooding in SC from the rain/hurricane last week.
Andrea, age 14, was swept up by the rushing water and sucked into the drainage ditch. She was upside down, her head on the ground and folded in half with her feet at her face. It took six minutes pulling against the rushing water current to get her out of the pipe. CPR was performed before the ambulance showed up.
It is a miracle that she is alive from the drowning, and now she is fighting for her life from currently 3 bacteria from the flood water in the ditch, collaspsed lung, both lungs filled with fluid
and other organ issues, a sinus infection and I'm sure more that we are aware of because she has been sedated for five days now in ICU and ventilated.
Our family has several members that have travelled from TN and FL and NC to provide emotional support to my brother and ex-wife, Andrea's parents.
(This is Colt, Andrea's cousin and my son. He was very excited he could see her today, he calls her and her twin his sisters, needless to say they are very close._
Any funds collected will assist our entire family that travels to cover medical bills, hotel bills, food/dining out, etc.
We also would like everyone that donates know that any money collected and not needed for our family needs, we would like to be able to donate to other Pediatrics ICU children to assist their family needs.
Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for any amount you are able to donate.
Thank you, God Bless!
Love,
Andrea's family
