I'm Sanne and I've been living in a very unsafe and high stress environment for years, unable to move because of financial problems. I've finally sorted things out and found a new apartment that I'll be moving into sometime early March.
While I've worked hard to get enough money saved up to pay for moving costs, I'm still a little short by about €150-200. My crappy internet connection in this place limits my ability to work extra hours and so I'm fearing I won't have enough by the time I get to move. As much as I want to do this on my own, I'm limited just enough that I might not make it.
My funds are intended to make my new apartment livable. As is custom in the Netherlands, floors are often bare concrete and appliances are not included. You need to bring or purchase your own. I can't bring anything from my current apartment because I don't own it. The new apartment has no flooring at the moment, which will be my priority along with two sets of curtains for the living room and bedroom. I get to purchase a fridge, a dining table and keep the flooring in the bathroom and toilet for a reasonable price as well.
Every little bit helps. I just really need a floor, something for my windows and the appliance and table that I can get cheaply. The floor is the most expensive and currently will take up all my available funds, so I'm working hard to get the rest covered.

I know everyone is strapped for cash at this time, but it would mean incredibly much to me to get even only a few dollars. I spent many years living in a hellhole without the ability to even paint the walls or take a hot shower whenever I want to, and I want this new place to represent a new chapter in my life. Anyone who can help make this possible is a saint to me.
