CVSA Alternative Spring Break Trip

Hello family, and friends!
My name is Chantal Lima Barbosa, I am a junior at UMass Amherst studying Political Science and Legal Studies! Apart from being a student, I am also president of the Cape Verdean Student Alliance at UMass Amherst.
CVSA has been going to Cape Verde for the past 5 years in order to give back to the Cape Verdean community.
On November 24 th of 2014, the volcanic island of Fogo erupted, leaving more than 1,500 people displaced. In March, the members of CVSA will be returing to Fogo for a week to work with the recent victims of the volcanic eruption.
Each student needs to fundraise $200 in order to go to Fogo, Cape Verde. I kindly request your assistance by donating whatever you can. This community service trip will not be possible without your generosity!
