Melvindale Housing Commission proivdes housing assistance to low income residents of Wayne County, Michigan. Our goal is to provide a soup kitchen and Nora's Clothing Closet. Many of our residents  are unable to afford clothing or food. Our goal is to be able to provide some of their needs within walking distance. We would provide personal hygiene items, clothing, food, etc. in our facility.
