Melissa- Our Warrior

Melissa Corina Fernandez, or Meli, the true definition of a warrior. Meli is not only a mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She's family. No matter who you were, Meli made sure she was present and there for whatever you needed. You became her family as soon as she befriended you. Behind all that sass is a HUGE heart. She gives so much love and still has some left over. Meli is the alcahueta and loca of the family, because that's just who she is. Plus she's in everything. Anything you need to know, Meli is the first to ask. And let's not get started on her party planning and reggae sessions. If you know Meli, you know she's all about that and if you don't, she will let you know. Everyone that knows her knows that she will be your confidant and backbone when you need her to be. She is so special. She made people get along and come together because it's Meli, why wouldn't she? She loved to have people together and enjoying each other's company. So many things to say about her and not enough words to truly express how amazing she is. Melissa is one of a kind.  The amount of pain that we all feel is nothing we could ever explain. She holds such a special place in our hearts, and we can't even begin to imagine not having her with us. But unfortunately her health has declined rapidly and her lungs can't take the severity of the damage they have. She can't rely on them to work on their own. We don’t want her to suffer anymore. The medical staff has done all they could and more to help her continue with this fight. We couldn’t be more grateful. Our warrior princess has fought long and hard. God knew what he was doing when he brought her into this world. She's serving a purpose we couldn't thank her enough for. She's left a mark in all of our lives that could never be forgotten or replaced. We've come together for her like she's always wanted and her story isn't over. This isn't a good bye. 

She has two great kids, Ayden and Asya, and an army of people behind her that need all the support. This is to help the family with anything they need. We love you Melissa. More than you will ever know.
