Medway Help for Homeless is a group of volunteers surporting the homeless in Gillingham.
We deal with homeless people in Gillingham and the surrounding area. The ages of the homeless here are between 19 and 70 years, plus a couple of dogs.
We are not a charity, we do not get funding. Every thing we supply is donated or bought by us.
We offer help by providing clothing, camping equipment, food and everyday essential items, which most of us take for granted.
We help run a weekley soup kitchen to provide hot meals and essential items to those in need.
We also assist with finding people a place to call home, by letting them use the phone, making calls on behalf of a person, making or assisting with appointments.
Please help us so we can carry on helping our homeless community throughout the year.
