My Move to My Dream Med School!

My name is Anthony "A.J." James. I am from Columbus, GA, and after experiencing the loss of a close family member from HIV/AIDS, I decided to set my heart on becoming a physician in order to be of service to those who are medically underserved. 

So, it is with great pleasure that I announce that I have been accepted to and plan to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH for the M.D. class of 2020! It has long been a dream of mine to attend medical school and practice medicine, and now my dream is one step closer to becoming a reality. The start of my medical journey on July 6, 2016 is rapidly approaching, but there are a few things that need to be taken care of first:

Moving to Cleveland from Georgia to begin my adventure will be both exciting and costly. All of my moving expenses must come out-of-pocket, as my student loans will not have arrived yet. Additionally, my car is poorly suited for traveling to and around Cleveland for the next 4 years, and I am hoping to get something newer.

It would mean so much to me if you decided to donate toward this campaign to help me achieve my dreams. I've overcome so many obstacles to get this point, and I don't want my dream to fade away because of not having enough money to jumpstart it.

P.S. This campaign is for both car and moving expenses, to include trips to Cleveland in order to get housing situated!
