Medical Trip to Panama

Hi all! I am starting this campaign in order to raise money for a medical trip that I will be taking in early August to rural Batata Panama. As students volunteering in this trip we are required to pay our own way. That include many things such as airfare, in-country fees (lodging transportation and food), and finally medical bills that arent covered by insurance   (Vaccines for my trip, I dont want to get malaria or yellow fever!!). 

This trip is put on twice a year by Hands for Global Health and Samuel Merritt University and is the only time that many of these individuals will be able to receive healthcare. This trip was one of the main reasons that I decided to attend SMU for my physician assistant education. 

Every little bit truly helps! I am currently working as a peer tutor and all that I am making this year will go towards this trip as well. However, three hours of tutoring a week is taking a long time to put even a small dent in the cost needed for this opportunity. I will put any extra money that I raise towards medications and supplies for this trip. Thank you so much for everything.
